The Holden V8 range benefitted from HSV's decission to run the LSA engine in the entire range, which meant that they now had access to the ever faithful LS3 power plant. It had long
been the backbone of the HSV range since 2008 and now this highly developed LS variant is the "standard" engine in all VFII V8 Commodores. Although the LS3 produces the highest power and
torque numbers Holden has ever seen it actually has more potential than any other engine in the entire current Holden and HSV range. This is due to Holden running a subdued setup in order to
