Superchargers
Nissan Patrol Y62
The Y62 Nissan Patrol has proven to be an incredibly capable towing and offroad vehicle, as well as the last standing V8 4WD sold in Australia.
The last
V8 Patrol.
Amplified.
The Y62 is already one of the most capable V8 4WDs ever sold in Australia. A Harrop TVS2300 supercharger takes what it does well and amplifies it — more torque on demand, more confidence towing, and a completely different feeling when you put your foot down.
Fresh off the dyno
Every supercharger install at Power Torque is finished with a full custom tune written in-house by Mitch — not an off-the-shelf file. This Y62 went from 248kW and 503Nm to 315kW and 606Nm. The torque peak hits at just 3,172 RPM — exactly where you need it towing or overtaking.
From bench
to road.
The Harrop TVS2300 kit is a full day's work done properly — here's this Y62 going through the process at our Brendale workshop.

The Y62's 5.6L VK56VD V8 engine bay prepped and ready. Factory components removed to make way for the supercharger install.

Fitted, sealed, and ready for the dyno. From here Mitch writes the custom tune specific to this vehicle before it leaves the workshop.
It's not about
peak numbers.
The Y62's 5.6L V8 is a strong engine in factory form. The supercharger changes its character — instant torque, more pull in the working range, and a completely different presence on the road or towing.
Positive displacement superchargers build boost immediately — no waiting for revs to climb. In a heavy 4WD, that low-end grunt transforms towing and overtaking.
606Nm peaking at just 3,172 RPM means the Patrol pulls harder where it matters most — at highway speeds, up long grades, or with a heavy van or horse float behind it.
Harrop builds the TVS2300 to OE standards. Combined with Mitch's custom tune, the result is smooth, predictable power that still works as a daily and tow vehicle.
A naturally aspirated V8 has limited headroom from tuning alone. The Harrop supercharger is the one modification that genuinely moves the needle on a Y62.
